Experiences with Bike Friday family tandem?
Thinking about getting one! Feels like it would fit in well with family needs (bikepacking with my partner, going to farmers markets, to ride with guests). Love the versatility of seatpost heights for both captain and stoker.
I am also digging the fact that it can be disassembled to fit into a hatchback. Was wondering if y'all had any real world experience with it? Sent from my HD1907 using Tapatalk |

I have never ridden one, but I have ridden with families that have some and the Two'sday tandems. Green Gear makes very high quality bikes that work perfectly.
My wife rides a New World Tourist and it is really great.

I haven't tried a tandem of any kind but my bf New World Tourist was excellent. I bought it used from bf and they were very helpful after the sale too so I don't think they would offer a bike that didn't perform as advertised.

I had one for awhile that I used with my son when he was 8-11 years old. Loved it for that purpose, so much better than a trail-a-bike. Never had another adult on it, so can't address that. Never folded it either. But for riding with kids, they're great.

Bf
Got two BFs (not tandems).
Very well made. Great customer service. Again, no direct experience w their tandems, but they make (and support) a fine product. m_b |
