Tell me everything about leather saddles

All I can say is that Berthoud saddles especially the Aravis are total trash. If anyone wants to save space in their trash can they can just send em to me as im doing a dump run soon--I'll even cover shipping

Theyre pretty tough until theyre broken in but I would say that happens in about 200-300 miles.

I have been riding leather saddles for probably close to a decade and tried pretty much all of them. Brooks have been around a long time and make decent saddles, but my preference is definitely Berthoud. Rivet is also pretty nice, but still not Berthoud nice.

I have a Berthoud on all of my bikes. The most supple leather and they have been durable as well. Mine break in pretty fast and I haven’t looked back since.
