Serotta Ottrott

Anyone have idea on what is a decent price for a good condition Serotta Ottrott frame? This is frame, F3 fork, and Chris King Headset.

Thank you!

Whole bikes with dated group sets seem to be in the $1500-$2000 range, with new group sets, closer to $3k+

I think $1k-$1.5k is implied, probably the high end for the sizes with more demand, lower prices for very big and very small frames.

I have never even gotten close to finding an Ottrott frame/fork for $1000. I think $1000 is likely a good price for a nice Legend. I think $1500 would a more common price... any thing less would be a good deal.

Of course... its an opinion...

$1600 - whole ottrott, nice condition...

https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/d/...154702149.html

This is certainly a 'good deal' but not rare and has been on CL for over 2 weeks. I think you could strip the parts from that bike and get close to $600...?

Looks like Campy 10-speed. Maybe record? Can't tell from pictures. Groupset and wheels $500-$700?

Not sure I would change a thing. Looks good as is, not a fan of the FSA crank, but that easily fixable... not sure its a total rebuild.

I contacted the Denver Otrott. I don't believe he wants to ship. Pretty bike, great price for someone local. Typical Otrotts go for close to $1500 frame/fork/headset. it's rare to see one near $1000.

Completed eBay Listing - F/F $850

I think a 'patient shopper' could expect $1k-$1.5k, certainly size dependent since many were custom, etc.

Serotta Ottrott 62cm TT. Condition is Used. Paint show age with chips and a few scratches, to dings, dents or cracks. Auction is for frame, fork, headset (needs new bearings) and green seat post binder

Completed eBay F/F - $500 (wow)

(Last Link)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Serotta-Ott...p2047675.l2557

There are a few light scuffs and other marks commensurate with age and use and a couple of paint chips on the fork. Black paint has been touched up where chipped or flaked on main frame at usual points (e.g., seat collar).

Measurements are as follows:

Top tube C to C. 530mm

Seat tube C to C. 570mm

Comes complete with a Dura Ace 9100 BB (approximately one year old and relatively lightly used) and a Chris King NoThreadSet.

27.2mm. Seat tube diameter

For reference, I am 185cm (6'1") and it has been a great size for me.

Pretty sure the cause of that low price was the absurdly short top-tube (relative to seattube).

It was 500 quid plus shipping though, so more like $750 USD+ for a very oddball sizing.
