Fork Threads rolled vs cut

So I’ve always been told that Reynolds and Columbus rolled their threads on forks. Googling it all I can find is a thread on Bikeforums where a few folks say that Columbus cuts their threads. Anyone have any actual knowledge on this?

They look cut to me. The internet seems to back me up on this.

Trek had a fork threading machine when I was there. It had dies. It's still possible to find a picture of Dick Nolan leaning on it.
