I have used it for shorter gravel races where I need a little extra storage outside my jersey.

I have the Pico as well.. works well and is a tiny bit (fyi) larger than the Uno supposedly. I like the reflective zipper area; what don't you like about the zipper?

There've been a couple mentions though about Arundel velcro in this thread. My dual is going on about 3 years of service -- I really don't understand velcro comments -- it seems to still stick well. I do suppose that it depends on how many cycles a rider goes thru of removing/reinstalling the bag -- which I tend to do pretty much only if I have to stick my bike in a stand and need to clamp by the seatpost.

Vouel does have a video touting it's toughness. Time will tell (if it ever gets completed)

That looks cool. Just briefly looked at the website. Would that stay attached during rough mountain bike rides?

SNAP.B from VOUEL did get completed and is currently en-route to most backers in batches.

Saddle bags - what are you using?

Tim

You can always pick a different color. Black goes with everything. The design (more than just color) is really well executed.

Has anyone come across saddle tool rolls which unroll but stays on one seat rail?

Kinda like how these unroll, but one end is strapped to the seat rail.

Years ago I remember shopping around for one and looked at Velocolour and others but found something similar to the above function and really latched on to it.

I'm looking for one I can move around to different bikes easily, not have to take off/unpack just to get one thing, and potentially expand a bit to hold a slim wallet or pump etc. when needed.

How would a roll-up type of bag allow you to get anything really without having to take it off the bike first?

I remember the design fairly clearly, one end was strapped separately to the rail and a larger velcro to hold it all together.
You'd undo the main velcro to unroll it from the seat rail and grab what you need, roll and tuck it back under the seat when done.
Wish I could remember the name but the market is so flooded now that its hard to search for.

I see lots of options that hold tubes, CO2 and an inflator, but are there any good choices that also hold a wallet, phone and a set a keys? Something just a little bigger but not a giant camping bag...

I use the SpeedSleev Ranger on my gravel bike and it’s perfect, plenty of space for tube, 2x co2, inflator, dynaplug, quick link and levers.

I have the Silca Premio on my road bike and hate it. I just can’t get the folding to play nice no matter how I stuff it and the elastic secondary strap stretched after a few months being basically useless. I really like the boa strap though and would consider their new pod as a replacement.

I’ve really liked the Leyzne Road caddy. Works great and holds everything I need.
