Very good taste, I'm waiting for pictures of the final build.

Have exchanged a few emails with Martina in the past and despite I decided to pursue a framebuilder I was very confident that the customer support at Bixxis is top notch

Great to see another Bixxis being brought into the world. Doriano is such a great and humble guy. I've got the #2 Bixxis shipped to the US and it's still going strong and my only pure road bike now.

That is a great color choice. Can’t wait to see this built up and a proper sun lit picture.

I too was quite taken with the paint when I saw it on their IG.

No question … so is Doriano

Thank you, Ryun. Your bike and write-ups, along with this bike (https://www.169k.net/blog/welding-the-ride) are what pushed me over the edge to purchase.

Haha! Whoops! I must have been looking at NoMoreParagon's beautiful ciavete Love #3 and made the slip.
I had actually considered asking Martina and Doriano if they'd send the bike over to Pegoretti for painting. I would have had a "Dariano."

It is currently December in Michigan. You'll probably need to wait until May for something properly sun-lit... : )

I second Ryun's build, to me it was one of the classiest builds I have seen. He didn't get caught up in all of the bling components like some of us do at times, me included (i.e. Campy SR, Lightweight wheels, etc.). It just seems it was well thought you and he took into account aethetics as well as a bike that HE would enjoy to ride. Really looking forward to seeing this one since it was inspired by what I consider one of the classiest builds, The Berthoud Galibier saddle on this Pathos gives a hint of the direction of the build

Me too, am anxious to see this built up, really beautiful. And me too, I've been struck by the recurring 73.3° STA's. As I recall from a couple years ago, though, and if I'm not mistaken, on closer inspection Doriano's notation is 73°30', otherwise known as 73.5°.

Sorry sorry - I've had a lot going on lately. I can commit to grabbing one by this weekend!

While it is currently getting no miles with Bora WTO 45's on roads that are covered with snow and piles of salt, it is built, and I am very smitten with it.
