Literally, plug in device into the smart plug, plug it into the wall, and put the batteries in the remote.

No wifi or app setup.

Maybe just grab a power strip you already have, plug two fans on it and plug it into the smart outlet.

The Lasko has two accessories outlets. I plug a second fan into one, then the Lasko to a remote control switch plugged into a power strip/surge protector that also powers my Laptop PC. I can turn on both fans remotely when I’m on my bike.

Just double check the amp support on the smart outlet and compare that to your fan/device.

Lasko daisy-chained

I also do this.

Two Laskos on either side of my Stages SB20.
One daisy-chained to the other.
And one plugged into the remote-controlled outlet.
Works great!
