Serotta bike frame number question please
I have just purchased a Serotta Ti bike and the code stamped into it is:- CCL 52 063.
I know the middle number is the size of the frame and I believe the first letter C means it was a custom build but I am not sure what the letters CL next to it mean nor what the number 063 is. If anybody knows that would be great. Thanks. |

Post the serial number, which is stamped on the bottom bracket shell.

How old is it? Might work into the system somehow if it's a really early one.

I'd be interested in what you think. Details are as follows: "Ti" decal on TT USA CCTi tubing decal F1 fork 25th anniversary decal Head-ons cable stops - no DT shifter bosses No 3D dropouts -Bob Last edited by bob_in_pa; 09-11-2023 at 11:59 AM. |

BB photo of the serial number
[QUOTE=oliver1850;3290310]That's definitelyIMG_1941.jpg not a 1993 CRL. It's the first example I can recall of a model code being used a second time for a new model. Better photos would help with identification. I can't even be sure of the fork model from the picture. My guess would be that it's a Fierte but they were made in steel and Ti, so start with the magnet test.
