New Bike Day! Vanni Losa Monti

This Monti by Vanni Losa just arrived today. Quite clean inside and out. Nemo or Foco tubing I'm guessing. I'll post more pics when Built. Should be soon, my Daccordi is getting bumped off the stand yet again.

Found it!

That is a beauty, love the shaped tubing. How are you planning on building it?

Sram... of course . Silver Rival levers with Red derailleurs. Haven't decided on the crank yet. Ritchey Classic Zeta wheels (Stealing them from the Rossin) with 28mm Gravel King slicks. Ritchey Classic bars, stem and seatpost.

A white saddle and bar tape might go better, but I'm probably going with black. I'm fresh out of all white Flite's.

Well poo... looks like I'll be shopping for some long reach brakes.

At least I got the drive dropout bent back OK to take wheel, to find that I needed said brakes.

Drop pad holders would be another option for you.

Thanks, was not familiar with those. That'd probably be enough.

Interesting, that's certainly one of the newest Losa built frames that I've seen. Are there any cutouts at all on the lugs?

That's a pretty 'normal' paint job for Carlo Dossena.

There are no v cutouts. The bottom bracket is the only lugged joint and has two tear shapped cut outs. Same as the later Ultrafoco Cinelli's, as is the tubing shape and design. I think Losa made those until 2008ish?

The paint is a gorgeous pearl celeste. Quite happy with the more understated Dossena work.

My nephew's boat, hasn't been used for several years. He graduated to big boy sailing.

Is it legal to have a "celeste" colored bike that doesn't say Bianchi on it?
