The latter. Their production was tied up in the AXS release. This is a brand that is still making 9 and 10 speed.

WTB: SRAM Red eTap group (11 speed)

Hmmm that’s good to know. I see 11 sp etap components still visible on SRAM’s website.

Yes, and I don't want to start a sram war but sram is no longer making 10s Red/Mech grops, for instance nor any road 10s group except Apex(I think). Are there 11s etap goups out there? Sure but 12s etap is where it's at for sram..AND mostly disc...

2. 11s sram etap is, by sram's own admission, obsolete. crump a 11s etap rear der(not uncommon)..you 'may' not find a replacement.

So why does SRAM even show 11 speed etap components on their own website? Even links to online retailers?

11 sp being obsolete vs 11 sp not being supported / in stock are two different things.

Campagnolo still makes and sells Record 10s ERGO shift assemblies too(last sold as a group in 2008)..YES, they support 11s etap, for now but their production and 'interest' is 12s/hydro/etap. Just like shimano's focus is 11s DA/Ultegra(8000) and 105(7000)..not 10s...Just like Campag'sis 12s now, not SR/Record/Chorus 11s or 10s Centaur...

Take a look at QBP in 3-4 months and see what they offer..I'll bet there will be no red/etap/11s offered(nor Campag SR/Record/Chorus 11s..nor 11s Di2 XTR or XT 11s)..etc..)..they are a good measure for what the 3 component makers are making/emphasizing...

All I'm saying is if somebody buys a group that isn't their companies first line 'stuff'..eventually small bits/parts/ders, etc will be tougher to find particularly when the newer stuff isn't compatible with older..like 12 EPS, and sram AXS 12s and XTR/XT 12s Microspline..etc..

Take offs

I am considering buying a bike that has the following group installed. I was planning on taking it off and installing a DI2 and selling it on the board. Let me know what you think. I don't know the length of the crank arm yet.

Front Derailleur: SRAM Red eTap YAW Braze On
Rear Derailleur: SRAM Red eTap with CeramicSpeed Oversize Pulley System
Shift Levers: SRAM Red eTap
Cassette: SRAM XG-1190, 11-28
Chain: SRAM Red 22 11-speed
Crankset: SRAM Red 22

He wants the wifli which I think that one probably is not (based on ceramic speed and cassette size)

Thanks. I don’t know anything about Etap and only a tiny bit about Di2.
