Happens every final.

I couldn't find a spot in Basel. stayed 60km outside the city.
Kiev we flew out after the match
Athens was easy enough.
Istanbul -crashed with friends from Ireland who were on a package deal.

Flights from Seattle through London $1700 r/t
Airbnb - 500 for 2 nights.

condolences to you Scousers out there. That was a close fight, nothing closer than the 11 mm of the ball that didn't pass the goal line when you played City away. Had that ball gone through, you'd have tied City 2-2 in that game, which means one more point for you and two fewer for City.

That's the true margin of this year's battle for first.

Though I really don't have a dog in the fight, hope you guys win it in Madrid

As upset as I am not to win. We won 30 league games this season. City in their last 19 games would have finished 8th. With only those 19 games.

Klopp has us in the cusp of what I hope is an era. I can’t wait to win in Madrid.

a lot of downtime for the next two weeks, as we transition into the off season. Yes, there'll be continental championships in Africa, North America, and South America, but it's not the same as club soccer

with that said, I just read this by Mario Götze, the dude who scored the winner against Argentina at the 2014 World Cup. The maturity of it all is rather striking, just a bit more so than the fact that Klopp had a hair transplant.

Do they ever. That was embarrassing. A season of treading water...then drowning.

@wc1934, how hard is this to take?

i guess at least he can get a scudetto on his palmare; better question is, how's gonna play the Jorginho role?

VERY HARD - anyplace (Milan, Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio) but Juve!!!
I was trying to avoid this topic - haha
So Abramovich pays to let another go - I read he is approaching 30 million in byout clauses.

Quagliarella to the Parthenopeans?

While i don’t like Abromo, I wonder why he should pay, if Juve and Sarri are the ones who want out of the contract.

I'm glad I didn't go to a bar to watch this. That was not steaming pile grade of football, but it wasn't up to the standard of either team.

The really iffy handball call really killed off the match. Ugh. Struck Sissoko on his pecs...

Maybe it was too much to ask for a scintillating display, as the best matches have already been played.

Congrats Scousers, and condolences Spurs

My TV viewing now feels quite empty and void...
