30.6 carbon post

Anyone know of a source for a 30.6 carbon post? I know the Fizik ones that were sourced through Dazza or D. Kirk, likely no longer available.
Thompson seems to be the source for aluminum 30.6 posts, but trying to see if a carbon one may be available...
Cheers

They are indeed rarer than rocking horse poo. I have a carbon Fizik one that has been cut with about 15-20mm left below the minimum insertion mark but might work depending on how much post you need sticking out of the seat tube. I used it for a while before switching to the aluminium Thomson one purely for aesthetic reasons.

Feel free to PM me if you're interested and I'm sure we can work something out.

There is a PMP on ebay right now. The price isn't bad for a new premium carbon post. It's in the Ukraine but I'd have no qualms ordering it based on the seller feedback and eBay guarantee:

Huh... it's been so long since I owned a modern [sic] carbon frame that I don't even remember what the more common seatpost diameter is. It isn't 30.6?

[edit: I just dug the owner's manual for my 13-year-old Cannondale Synapse out of the file cabinet. It's 31.6.]

A few years back I was in need of a 27.0 seatpost, that seemed pretty darn rare.

30.9 is the more common size. 30.6 is used for double OS steel frames. Llewellyn has a 30.6 WRCompositi post in his price list as of June 2018 for 177 AUD (~125 USD).

EDIT - oh, I see that Darrell replaced to this thread. Still selling the 30.6 from WRC?

That guy selling the PMP posts is legit. I have bought from him three separate times and we have messaged back and forth. Very fair prices and pretty fast shipping as I am on the East Coast.

So the PMP post that was listed above (thanks!!) arrived and to my major disappointment it is 30.9, argh! Yikes...

I am keeping my eyes open. In the meantime I will have to try a Thompson.

Please keep me in mind if you come across a carbon 30.6.
Thanks

Just order a WR Compositi 30,6mm from CicliCorsa (https://ciclicorsa.com/shop/wr-compo...rbon-seatpost/)
or
bikeonline (http://bikeonline.it/en/58_wr-compositi).

They both order them direct from WR, they are very reliable sellers, ship quickly and securely, and the WR can be ordered in 3 different setbacks and several lengths, finish options, etc.

WR are really good products, and the seatposts are top of the line.

Howdy! Thanks
Indeed, I have one on order through CycliCorsa, but it takes a while. I believe they make them once the request comes in, takes a few weeks, at least it is taking a few weeks in my case.

Yes, exactly.
Unless a shop already has some products in stock, they all order directly from WR on behalf of the client (hence the options to specify diameter, length, setback, finish). It will take a few weeks to USA, but the shipping is very secure and fast (DHL).

Since you have the one on order via CC, maybe that is fine with you; if you need something faster, perhaps email bikeonline.it (link above) or Clemenzo Cycling (http://clemenzo.com/en/wr-compositi/...iti-seat-posts).

But, I doubt either store will have 30,6mm in your preferred length/setback/finish anyway and CicliCorsa are very reliable, so you might as well just stay with that order.
