issi Flash pedals

Anyone tried them out?

I want to finally get around to replacing my eggbeaters with SPD-type pedals and thought I'd see if anything other than Shimano has appeal.

Ht

MT M1 Leopard pedals are the best MTB/gravel type pedal I have ever used. No slop or rock like an SPD.

I have a few sets of Issi pedals, the FlipIII and Thumps. I find their SPD interface to be a bit tighter than Shimano while still offering a tension adjustment. Quite likely as good or better than the HT pedals mentioned above.

Plus fun colors and easy rebuilds!

They're totally solid pedals. Action is very similar to M520s, but not as nice as XTR. I bought mine for the color, but if I were to do it again I'd hold out for a gently used pair of XTRs.

i have tried a bunch of pedals, i think if you want an spd style pedal, just get shimano. they have the best bearings and seals. if you want cool colors you're out of luck, but if you want a bulletproof pedal that will last forever with zero maintenance, get the shimano.

Thanks for the feedback all!

If anyone has gently used XT/XTR pedals, feel free to give a shout, but I feel like that'd be a rare find.

I guess for more context, this is for my "road" bike, so I'm after a bit more of a solid platform than my eggbeaters without going back to normal road shoes.
