Respectfully, there's a FAR better way to deliver this mesaage. Rather than making it personal, respond to the idea.

We, as a society, need to learn to be civil. Personal attacks are the problem, not the solution. We need leaders who understand and model this behavior too.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I chose to personally attack him in particular because he seems to often have this kind of attitude and tries to speak for other people. If anything his idea has more merit than the holier than thou delivery.

Telling me to channel my energy elsewhere... who do you think you are?
