@veloduffer
Very nice..!! How do the two bikes compare? How do you decide which one to ride? Do you know approx weights of both of them? |

Both ride fairly similarly as the geo isn’t very different. The Seven feels quick despite being about 2 lbs heavier (~19 lb with Easton alloy wheels) than the Boone, which has Nox carbon wheels. I’ve ridden both on the road and gravel. I like how both maneuver — neutral handling — when going down technical and large, loose gravel sections. The Boone absorbs bumps/shock better due to the Iso-coupler in the seat tube and carbon frame & wheels. So I use it instead of the Seven if the road may be rougher. Otherwise I choose based on whim. :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Tire clearance
Hi, nice bike. Looking to get the 2019 version, but what size tires are you running? 28s? Would prefer to just transfer part to the new frame but my current wheelset (inside rim width of 19mm and Continental 28s) measures close to 31. Is there room?
Thanks! Last edited by jzm; 06-19-2019 at 07:11 AM. |
