Ok I am ruling out seatpost and saddle. I did a quick spin riding out of saddle and the clicking still happens.

I tightened the crank arm bolts but it still make noise. Chainring bolts seem to be tight but I will remove, grease and re-install, same with the crank arm bolts.

After that will be the pedals.

I once had a similar noise. Turned out one of my spider arms was cracked.

Oh no, the dreaded 6800 hollow crank arm issue?

I am going take the pedal/crank off to clean up that area and inspect for crack, etc.

Have you removed your derailleur hanger, cleaned it, greased where it interfaces the frame and tightened the bolts up? It's a more common source of noise than you'd think!

If valves have no locknuts, like all my latex tubes, I use small O-Rings to help with the valve click. Don't forget to push them tight down to the rim after inflating for your ride.

Does the duration of occurrence [time between reports] change in different gears at same speed?? That will tell your if it is wheel or drive/chain.

And also look at the rim bed around the spoke holes for cracks. Look close with the rim clean...

Check dérailleur hanger

Just had same in my ti bike. Turned out to be the bolt on derailleur hanger. Shop found it for me. Lubed that and back to silence.

Didn’t watch your video as at work. Just thought I’d toss that out as one more possibility

Hopefully it is not spoke nipples because they are embedded inside the rim...

I will try all external adjustment/cleaning before ripping the rim tape.

The vale stem is well secured/sound proofed. I basically wrapped the whole thing with heat shrink tubes so it doesn't bang on the rim now.

RD bolt, will give that a try as well.

Just went through this. Had the same symptoms but less loud. I literally checked everything that everyone on this thread suggested, and in the end it turned out to be the bottom bracket. In retrospect, the time I wasted wasn’t worth it and I wish I would’ve dropped it off at my LBS sooner. Good luck hunting it down nonetheless.

I came to ask about the chainring bolts.

But I just had loose chainring bolts a couple months ago and they didn't sound like this, and it was a power-dependent noise. It was more of a clunk.

My bolts were *very* loose too. If you couldn't turn any of them with your fingers it's not that.

As far as I can tell

- Chainring bolts not fully torqued/not evenly torqued - "Click" (hard to differentiate from BB clicking)

- Chainring bolts coming totally loose - "Clunk" (easy to differentiate from BB clicking.)

This is the most clacky noise I've heard out of a nice bike. It reminds me of a loose chainguard on a kid's bike banging against the crank.
