2020 bikepacking awards - Films and Photography
There is not a lot of bike stuff that excites me as of late but have been going through the films for the 2020 bikepacking awards and there is some REALLY good stuff there. I have watched a few before (highlights being the salsa film about the bikepacker that died of cancer and his wife went and rode his bike packing routes, one pretty amazing film and might be the best on that page) but so many more gems I was not aware of.

His wife is doing an updated book based on his routes and I can't wait to get out there any try it. BC is really underrated for gravel.

BC? British Columbia? If so, is there a source for rides/routes I could access. My brother is new to cycling, lives in Eastern BC, and I am in the UK. Would love to ride there, but I’d need to put it together. |

Thanks for this
I watched the Lockdown one....couldn't finish but it was cute and good for him. I watched the Ruta Chingaza and it was typically well done and would love to ride that. Onward. Last edited by charliedid; 12-12-2020 at 09:12 AM. |

If you click the link OP posted, you'll see an incredible video about Sarah Hornby. Bikepacking in the Canadian Rockies, which was written by he late husband, is what you'll want, and she's going to publish a revised version soon. Just be sure to give yourself time to acclimatize to altitude and always carry bear spray and a SPOT device.
