Oppressive!

I needed some hot weather riding to help me acclimatize to the heat of summer but I could've done without the high humidity. Ten bottles of water later and I was home with an IV of Gatorade in me to help replenish what my stops along the way couldn't.

Quickie!

I've got a 34 mile (mostly gravel) loop that's a favorite of mine when I don't have the time or energy to go further.

Quickie!

That ferry raft is amazing. Looks like you have access to great areas to ride (for at least part of the year).

The raft does what it needs to do but I think most of us would like an actual bridge. There's a lot of machinery down along the river trails now as they put in a pedestrian trail but I don't think the funds for a bridge across the creek are there.

We've got some great roads, trails, and weather for riding in the Minneapolis metro area and points beyond. I get a ton of use out of my fatty in the winter months as well along the river trails. We've also got hundreds of miles of gravel roads for gravel riding, something I took up last year. I love the variety.

My Dog Cam is a Success!

I purchased an additional GoPro camera to mount on the rear of my bike to capture what goes on back there out of view of my forward-facing camera. It didn't take long to catch what I was mostly after: a dog giving chase to me.

TimeWarp

I've never tried the TimeWarp feature on my GoPro until today. I thought it worked really well. I especially like the way it played with the overcast sky. I made it out early this morning, ahead of the heat but not the humidity.

Quickie!

With the weekend winding down and feeling a little restless, I made it out last night for a quick ride before sunset. I'm enjoying playing with the TimeWarp feature on my GoPro.

Quickie!

Your homing pigeons Kevin? How many events do you do each year? Weddings and funerals I presume? Cool.
