Just discovered this on my Shimano RS81 rear rim.
I have no idea how it happened and have never cracked or broken a rim. Stuff happens.

Not today, but recently … spoke in my front Shamal. Lucky it happened near the start of a long ride, tire was rubbing against the fork.

And, for @JedB, my faith in humanity.

My wife and I went to Tahoe for 1-1/2 weeks of MTB'ing in Oct. On the first day the Noleen shock on my ancient, but much loved Cross Link fork blew. MTB'ing with no rebound control sucks, I did quite a few paved miles though.

2 weeks ago, my left femur and a hairline fracture of my left radius. An unleashed dog was the culprit.

Today, just the bank account overbidding on eBay.
(Hopefully, did not break the N+1 limit)

Will post the pics if I win.

Just about destroyed my trachea today...

Apparently the construction crew who are working on a road way didnt see any issue with stringing a braided cable wire across an access road off the bike trail, which hasn't been closed or private in the 8 years I've been riding it. Luckily I saw it last minute as I came around the bend and was able to turn sideway and avoid a direct blow to my trachea and took the blow more on the side. Not sure what happened after that but I wound up on my left hip and right palm so I think I got clothes lined and went underneath it?

Dang, that's brutal. Maybe get it checked out, and have a talk with the agency that's responsible.

Heal well.

Ouch. Wish you a speedy recovery.
Hope you will report it. Crew has to learn to get ore careful.

I have a lot of construction going on around the city and have exchanged a few words with inconsiderate crews. They seem to be equally inconsiderate to cars,, bikes and pedestrians …

A 25K trail run in January that broke my fastest April training time...might have something to do with the snowless and warm winter here so far in Northern Colorado!
Have run and ridden everyday in Shorts since March 2021!
OOOP's you meant something else...I broke a couple coconuts this afternoon!
