I'll add that BikeTiresDirect is a "real" company, with a storefront in NE Portland, and friendly/helpful people.....they are unfortunately closing their other brick n' mortar store in NW Portland (Western Bike Works) at the end of the year due to rising overhead and such, but are keeping/growing their online presence, and I believe their tri shop in Tigard. Anyway, I give them two thumbs up. They price-match too, so you can always scour for deals and then head their way.

There are still places in Europe where you can source Shimano components at good prices, e.g., slightly better than the current Jenson USA sale prices. They aren't that hard to find. The usual U.S. warranty and other caveats apply.
Absolutely nothing against the OP, but were I looking for businesses not adhering to Shimano's pricing restrictions this might be a good way to start. Just sayin'. |

Just picked up a new Ultegra 11-34 and three Dura-Ace chains from BTD...best prices I could find at the moment.

I’ve been a Bike Tires Direct and Universal Cycles customer for Shimano for a long time. The convenience of stocking local dealers who will also ship works for me and prices are pretty good.

I like Jenson a lot, depending on the time of the year you can get really cheap deals sometimes.

I've used both Jenson and Excel Sports for years and I have been happy with the service (good prices, quick shipping and a real person in customer service).
