I'll def post something up. Will be quite a while before we dry out here enough for me to really put it through the paces on some fav roads.

I think between the Time, C59, and F10...I'll have some fun notes. Also have the (now sold) SV, Peg Love #3, and Sachs for further data points.

Even with baby #3 incoming, this summer is gonna be RRAADDDD!

I'm sure we'll get some dry days soon - cold, but dry..

I'm thinking any of the descents off of Bald Peak would be a good tester for it

Super deal on that build. Local dealer here 'offers' those for ~ fourteen and change.

I now have a 59.5 F10 coming my way.

As I said, this place is dangerous for the wallet.

I haven't been an on the pointy edge of a frame/bike for a long time. My '08 SpeedVagen was the last time...and that could be argued as not so pointy (seeing as it was custom steel). A very long time ago I did foolishly buy a too-big 1st gen BMC Team Machine. I'm still looking for a few fillings that I lost riding that thing. Shiny, new, Tyler Hamiliton/Floyd Landis yada yada nonsense. I learned a lesson.

So I'm going to enjoy this one! I've read it may not be what the F8 is/was. ATMO, those characteristics and attributes are likely 9-10 tenths variances. I could be wrong...but I'll never know. Until I get down to visit Jerk and ride his custom rig. In this case, following Clean's thoughts, the price was simply too good to pass up.

While I still can (not old, but not young), I wanted to try the performance edge with this frame, road disc, and all the trimmings. If I'm going to the deep end, I'm going all the way. Caveat, I have zero issue with rim brake. I have Campy SR12, rim brake and simply couldn't be happier. I just wanted to try what is supposed to be crazy stopping power on discs. I also won't cry if I get caught in the wet worrying about my brake track. I'll beat this thing.

@Clean, you're welcome to through a leg once we have some clear roads. Gotta keep it out of the elements for the first little bit.

Anyone wanna buy my TIME VXRS or eTap equipped Vamoots?

Sorry for the thread drift. This thread is about @Clean getting a Dogma. Get on it!

We can be twinning.

Many a road cycling decision is made primarily because of fashion and vanity, so...I'll say it;

I find Pinarello Dogma design to be so Euro Trash. With every update they get more Jean-Paul Gultier-esque.

The thing could ride as smooth as a Cadillac Deville and rail corners like a Porsche GT4, but you wouldn't catch me dead on one!

But I get it, if the itch needs scratching then scratch it!

my first nic bike was a beat up 2009 Pinarello Prince. just bought a 2019 Pinarello prince seems like my like of threaded BB, alloy dropouts and horizontal TT have brought me back to Pinarello at the end.

I rented a Dogma on a trip once. I thought it rode way too harsh and stiff.

It would've been something small, like a 52cm.

Thanks. Anecdotally, I've noticed that these frames seem to be better receives by larger riders riding the larger sized frames. My suspicion is that Pinarello does not do a good job adapting the fiber layup throughout the size ranges, making them overly stiff in the smaller sizes.

Which wheels? Tires? How good was the fit? I know small riders who ride Dogmas and absolutely love the bike.

You mean Claude Montana and it´s not euro trash. Trashing the guys decision to buy the bike otoh is tasteless and slows you down.

They certainly are cool bikes. Local shop carries them and a few of the local peloton riders have various versions.

i hope they keep making rim brake models. maybe someday i'd love to give one a shot, but i'd never buy a disc brake road bike.
