Thanks for the bottle vs can article. I am not sure I buy into everything they wrote. I guess I am just old fashion. I ride a steel lugged bike and listen to vinyl records thru my all tubed system.

3 Notched 40 Mile IPA after a long day’s drive to get to the beach.

All you California friends stay safe - lay up some ice for those IPAs too - it's going to be a tough few days for the power grid..

I actually prefer a gose if it’s hot out. Lower ABV and a touch of salt and acidity make it much more refreshing than an IPA.

Also why are you guys drinking these stale west coast IPAs?! Where’s the haze?

Wow. IPA on a hot day after a long ride?

I'll take a crisp Pilsner or Kölsch, please.

I've always found Pliny delicious, and the taste not like other DIPA. It and heady topper are the only beers I will drive to get. Knee Deep's Breaking Bud is my Von's pick, melvin if they are out.

I've not yet had Pliny for Pres., but it is double dry hopped, which tends to be hazy.

Too often hazy beers I've tried are high fruit forward. If I wanted a beer that tasted like grapefruit or whatever, well, I don't. To each his own I guess.

Now, if you get a chance to try that good of the public, it is a hint peachy, and VERY light drinking for an IPA, hence for me perfect after a hot mtb ride--small heat wave out here in san diego area, so mine will soon be gone.
