Cane Creek S-3 Headset == What Chris King headset?

Sorry I don't know that much about headsets and forks. My bike has a Cane Creek S-3 Headset, it's a good ten years old and probably could use replacement. I'd like to try out a Chris King. Do y'all know what CK headset I would need? Is it possible to tell just by knowing what CC headset I have? Here's the CC headset:

I think this would be the one I need in 1 1/8, but not sure. Sorry for the basic question:

Why get a new headset? Cane Creek makes an excellent headset. If anything, just replace the cartridge bearings. Just seems like a waste to get a new one.

Good Luck!

Another +1.

I can't speak for CC headsets, but I have never replaced a CK headset.

Is anything even wrong with the current headset? You seem to want to replace it simply because it's 10 years old. Just curious...

which, btw, is a completely valid reason to replace something!

Bearings should have numbers.
Replace those and keep riding.
