What a long, strange trip it's been!

RIP Phil - thanks for everything.

RIP! Met him back stage in '87, a truly talented musician and genuinely kind person.

And I was just listening to a jerry interview two days ago…

A unique style of bass playing. Tailored for and evolved with the band.

His recording were on the turntable last night at a local brew pub.
Sounded good, and I appreciated the celebration.

I've been a huge fan since High school and saw them in Buffalo in 1992 instead of going to my Prom. I'm seriously in shock.

While TGD was never really my thing, I did appreciate some of their music. And I do get the “Dead Head” thing. I have a friend from HS back east who would take two weeks off every time the Dead would come around and follow them up and down the east coast.

Sad to hear, rest in peace.

RIP.

Fortunately, Internet Archive is back up, and you can listen to many concert recordings here: https://archive.org/details/GratefulDead.
