This C59 owner is jealous of your C60 . . . .

Ah, nothing to be too jealous of if you're riding a C59. They're more affordable, about the same weight, have a better BB standard, and ride a little more comfortably. Having owned both, I would tell potential owners to buy whichever had the paimt scheme they liked best and price they could palate.

Curious, does the C60 have pressed in BB bearings? C59 threaded? Got a friend that has a beautiful C59 and hers is threaded I believe. Such nice bikes.

C59 is threaded and C60 (also V1r) have a shell threaded into the frame to accept a press in bottom bracket. But not exactly a BB386 press in. And definitely not a true BB30/PF30. Its... special.

The C60 bottom bracket setup is really nice. Being able to replace the metal bits that you press the BB into is a smart bit of thinking. I ended up running a Wheels Mfg "Thread Together" BB in my C60 and have zero problems with creaking. Install it, and then forget about it.

I don't like that they've just added one more interface. It's one more place that can produce noises. Or strip. If I could run a true BB30 crank - I'd probably get over it.

It's actually a smart design. If the cups ever get out of tolerance, they can be replaced with new ones. This isn't possible in the majority of framesets out there, and a damaged or worn interface makes it trash.

It's a Shimano/FSA standard BB86 or PF86. Cups in cups
