what is it? This itch......

I have three excellent wonderful road bikes that scratch every itch that I have had and will ever have but today someone sends me this link for a 1981 Pro Koga Miyata that I was looking for years in this kind of shape with early DA parts. I'm now looking at my very full shed thinking if I move that frame and those wheels I might be able to squeeze it in. BUT I wouldn't ride it like it deserves to be ridden. So for your viewing pleasure

I been scratchin' it for the last 10+ years...and finally I was able to get rid of the itch this time last year. I am happy to report I have been sober for a year now.

Talk of itching is very disturbing to me--I'm currently sitting here dealing with a real--not metaphorical itch. Apparently I did not clean up carefully enough after a day at the Habitat house--and got myself a really good dose of poison ivy...

But I think if you are curious kiwisimon and it is affordable, it is worth buying to try out!

Selling on is not hard.

Oh wow! What a great bike. I have one with Nuovo Record. It was my first pro level bike. I bought mine in 1983 as a freshman in college. It was a bit on the porky side, but a very nice bike.

No Calamine lotion need here, 2 X Team Miyata's and a Koga Miyata SuperWinner daily.

I'm still infected..... Got a Stella, Ochsner, Concorde, and Olmo in various states of build and waiting to see if they can finally put the itch to rest.

Oh and it's really not hard to grab a different bike each day to ride so that they all feel loved. Just sayin'....

I've had a Pro Miyata itch since that bike was new. Never scratched and most likely never will. Sweet bike though.

I'm in the same spot. For me, it'd be more for art than use. Trying to get away from that.

Lol. That’s quite the hen house.

Scratch the itch is right. May not come back around in that condition again (the bike) and turn out to be something special.

Wheels on the bus and bike go round and round...

Nothing wrong with taking a break or even walking away. Those kids are safe and ready to be picked up again when/if ready.

Yeah, that was a little cheesy.
