Your $.02: What color matches?

Looking to re-use my early king pink bits on my next bike, and I'm stuck with what's going to work well with them (as far as the frame color is concerned -- cockpit will always be black).

What do you guys think...

edit: pics of what i'm thinking

White is a good choice. My Vanilla is white, with baby pink and hot pink ... graphics. Not sure what to describe them as.

Blue or grey are also good choices.

My actual vote was for "hot fricken' pink". Based on my bike, I think the early CK pink and a hotter pink will complement nicely. FYI, my headset is one of the later pinks, and it's more a hot pink. I have a pair of CK classic pink hubs, which are baby pink like the ones you have.

I'd go white. Black is a little too aping 2011 Rapha.

Or Rapha today.

See it's funny, because that's why black appeals to me. I started riding in 2010 so the early Rapha catalog had a big impact on my aesthetic views as they related to cycling.

I would argue CK pink is 2011 too. The modern Pink is the matte punch color. So why not keep it period correct?

That matte grey would look nice with the muted pink anodizing of the King bits

This colorwheel calculator says yellow is a complementary color:

For professional graphic artists/desktop publishers* that is a given, but there's yellows and then there's yellows. Regarding the pink: to have 3 mismatched hues within the same spectrum is evil; ergo those hubs are the devils work. Sell.

The hubs are actually an accurate match, the picture however does not reflect that

So then — if yellow were complimentary.... like, fluorescent yellow? Lol, just go with a retina searing combo
