Wow. I should know this, but is that ST lug fillet brazed to the ST and then filed to create that beautiful little line running around it? The precision there is amazing. Functional beauty of the highest order.

I hope one day I get to see one of your frames in person before it's painted. I'm sure it's even more amazing up close and personal. Any plans for NAHBS in Sacramento...like showing off a Onesto Fillet?

There is a machined collar that slips into the top of the seat tube and the thin line is the visual seam. Then the top tube is brazed on the front and the binder is brazed on the back and there I go for a ride.

Man. That is beautiful work. I find myself coming back to stare at it. Seems ashame that all your care and details get covered by paint!

Curious. Does stainless ride any diff than "normal" steel?

Thank you.....but there is no paint needed. It's done just as you see it.

dave: i know it is hard to tell from pics but have you gone to a shorter top tube on your bikes? i remember when you used a 61 tt. perhaps tt length is distorted because of oversized head tube.

when you are ready to sell this one and if it is close to a 61 X 61 please let me know.
