Q: Pro-Tech v. Ultra-Torque (BB386, Chorus 12)

If I want to go to Chorus 12 on a gravel bike with a BB386 bottom bracket, it looks like I have both Ultra-Torque and Pro-Tech options.

I think I'd prefer the Pro-Tech for the seals/tube.

Campagnolo doesn't list Record, Chorus, etc. on their matrix for the Pro-Tech, but I'm not seeing any reason it wouldn't work.

Am I missing something?

Ultra-Torque and Pro-Tech cranks/BBs are not interchangeable. The Pro-Tech system adds extra seals outside the bearings, which required extra room between cranks and bearings, so the bearing positions had to change. The BB cups corresponding to each system account for the different bearing positions, and are therefore not interchangeable.
