REALLY OT: NE Ohio members to give directions/advice?

Like millions of others, I am chasing the Eclipse Monday. I'll be staying in Alliance, which will JUST be outside the path of Totality. So, I need to move that day into it.
I'm thinking of heading N towards Erie, so I'm looking for guidance from anyone who live there or knows the area.
My dream location would be a neighborhood park with a restroom that I can park near. I'll have camera, chair, and a bit of food, so don't want to walk too far.
If someplace in your town is selling tickets to an event, I'd gladly buy one.
Anyone have ideas? If I lived there, I'd walk out my front door and set up. Don't need a beautiful view, since everything is happening way up high.

I was going to Arkansas to ride and view, but the weather forecast was so bad, I moved. I've made better choices, it turns out.

Try the park at the Westlake, OH Recreation Center that has lots of space, parking and outside restrooms.

It might be super packed, but Presque Isle in Erie would be a good wide open spot.

I used to do time trials there back in the day.

That looks nice. It's in the direction I'm thinking of going, but you're right, it'll likely be packed

"go the fork in the road, take the right fork.. if you go to the left, you'll end up down by the crick.. then when you see the red barn with the ruf caved in, take a left.. then when you see the see the old silo next to old man Winchester's house, you're there!"
