What a great thread. Thanks for both of the videos.

Does anyone know what brand of Thor’s chain tool the bike assembler is using? That thing is industrial sized.

I'm waiting for my cheap ¥en Panasonic to be completed, hopefully any week now.

The videos only add to the excitement.

the video actually shows three different processes; lugged brazed steel, fillet frazing, and TIG welding

This looks quite a lot like the Colnago factory did in the '80s and 9os. Quality production steel bikes.

I thought the same thing. Saw a Colnago video with frames on a big rotating table with 'stations' with a bank of torches on the bottom bracket, rotated and next got torched.

Didn't watch the video, but FWIW Panasonic's first company branded product (sort of) was a bicycle light in 1927!

I've also looked at these from time to time. I was always confused about how they offered so many sizes for a production frame! (1 cm increments from 46 to 61). That it's all made-to-order, if that's correct, solves the mystery.

I've got a Prologue in my attic now. Left over from those days. Very light frame.
