New! Cycliq Fly6 Pro. $400 No Radar...Wow!
I don't have any issues with my Cycliq Fly 12 Sport.
But I have heard of customer support issues. OTH, the marketing looks like a high quality unit and their support is supposedly beefed up. Considering that the company is based out of Australia, no Radar, shipping delays, and other logistics. This just seems to be priced high. I bought a Garmin RCT715 for less than this and includes a radar. Flawless execution and Garmin support has always been outstanding. Cycliq just came out with this model. I'm sure no real world usage yet. Just surprised no reviewers got an early pre-release. Wondering how many of us will make the leap.

dont need 4k...
1080p with stabilization is enough.. ~$400 is too much. If garmin added stabilization to the 715 they could have killed all, dont know why the didn't |

What resolution do you need to be able to read a front license plate in the video if someone is harassing you from behind?
I think that would be all you need for normal use. Save the 4k for the cycling influencers or something if you don't need 4k for safety. Do you need stabilization to read a license plate? Again all in whether this is just safety footage or you think people actually want to watch footage of the ride from a few inches below your backside. |

I think that I read somewhere that stabilization will make the video edited and will be thrown out by the lawyers. After all we are only using these to obtain restitution due to an accident.

Sounds ridiculous but I don't doubt it.

Yes, especially in low light.
