The GCN folks think the last climb tomorrow favors climbers who can up the tempo on the steep parts. To me that means Carapaz and Yeats and?

I’ve also got Bardet on my team, and I’d love to see Valverde sneak in there to continue the old guy winning streak.

Yates is out.
I wonder how Bardet flounders for years and now suddenly he is his back to being competitive.

My hopes rest with Bardet and Almeida and everyone else abandoning.

It could happen...

Don’t forget old man Valverde—lurking around in 11th place.

Girmay finally gets one. He's had such an impressive race for a 22 year old sprinter. Cracked van der Poel in the sprint.

that's about what it'll take. I'm just happy Bardet is riding as well as he is...

And in the category of "you can't make this stuff up," Girmay has been taken to a hospital after hitting himself in the eye with a spumante cork: https://cyclingtips.com/2022/05/girm...im-in-the-eye/. Be safe out there folks, bike racing is dangerous!

Bini is having an amazing season and seems like such a decent man. Amazing he's the first black cyclist to ever win any grand tour stage. So inspirational and he recently extended his contract with Intermarche too. I would bet teams like INEOS, JV and Movistar would be happy to toss him a contract.

Wow that is crazy.

Did anyone else wonder what in the world MVDP was doing trying to go from 4km out? I mean no wonder he ran out of gas in the sprint..
