Blackburn Air Stik AS-1 Rebuild Kits?

I'm probably just being cheap, but wondering if anyone has ever rebuilt one of these. Seals seem worn, not building pressure.

I see rebuild kits for the Air Stik SL, but not the AS-1. Are they universal kits?

Maybe I should just throw it away

Depending on where you got it, Blackburn pumps have a lifetime warranty..just get a new one.

From Blackburn-

Current pumps, racks, bottle cages, cyclometers, multi-tools, mirrors, and trainers are subject to a limited lifetime warranty for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Blackburn warrants these products to be free of defects in material and workmanship and against failure or malfunction during use as intended by the manufacturer.

I tried to rebuild my FP-1. When I called Blackburn they just sent me a new pump, not the FP-1 since that's no longer made, but some version of the AirStik. They were enormously helpful - give them a ring. You'll either end up with new seals/washers or more likely a brand new pump.

If your FP-1 is the full frame pump, I found that the mammoth rebuild kit has the correct gasket (gray colored one) for the full frame pump! Call Blackburn and have them send you one:

Blackburn is crazy, they will fix any issue whatsoever (no matter how minor, major, petty, old, new) with a new pump.

Blackburn is a GREAT company..
