Slightly OT: Thanks To Forum Member Ken Robb

This forum is a collection of some of the nicest people on the bike planet.

When my component stereo tuner started dying, I posted OT about it on this forum, knowing there were knowledgeable audiophiles here.

While I didn't get the answer I was looking for, I appreciated all the replies.

In the background, Ken Robb PM'd saying he had an old tuner he would be willing to part with for a silly cheap price. I took a chance on it even though in my mind I had planned on buying something new.

The transaction went smooth as a silk tubular on a wooden track, and the tuner arrived safe and sound, and IT WORKS! Heck, even though it was 27 years old, he still had the manual.

I hope I can repay the favor someday to Ken or another forum member.

Heck, much to my wife's chagrin, I still have the paperwork that came with my teething ring.
