Saturday morning Karma!

Hauling Ass down the sidewalk along one the busiiest streets in the city, my Fn front seat post clamp bolt snaps! The girl Im riding with is about 5' off my back tire.

Thank goodness for my good friend Karma! I don't go down and we are about 1/2 mile from Starbucks and another 1/2 mile to home.

Might be time to ask for help losing another 20 lbs

A Caramel Frappuccino with an extra pump of caramel is just what I need to calm my nerves.

Glad to hear you're OK.

As for the 20 lbs, you might start by not having them put all that cr@p in your coffee. Caramel? And what the heck is "frappuccino" anyway?

A nice shot of espresso, and you're ready to go....

So you were hauling ass on the sidewalk then stopped to get a milkshake? I thought this was a cycling forum.

We see:

1). EG does not space out his rear brake cable rubber guides.
2). EG rides a Brooks saddle.
3). EG or his girlie ride with an iPod
4). Those are girl sunglasses, so there is a chica.
5). They have a sweet tooth, those Starbucks drinks are like a meal for calories.
6). He needs to lose 20lbs.
7). There is an ant on the tree watching the whole thing go down.

:starbucks:

Weyless(?) I assume it came with the bike when I bought it (well used) 10+ years ago.

It owes me nothing. This bike has more miles than any other bike I own and likely more hours than all of my other bikes combined. It sees 50% roads and 50% city single cross.

I'll find new bolts and put it right back in service.

I've given up. They will be clumped back up within 1 or 2 rides.

Guilty as charged and usually chamois free

The woman is almost the perfect riding partner in every other way. I excuse this one fault mostly because she is good to look at.

More sugar to calm your nerves? I don't think it works that way. Still, I'm glad you are safe. That would be tough to recover from without crashing I would think.

Careful that Starbucks napkin doesn't reach out and break something else on the bike...
