The one I had was one of those “forum frames” that moved several times in the Classifieds. Maybe it was a lemon...but I had several CSi’s and 2 Rapid Tours amd they all rode much better than my Atlanta.

Well, the CSI was supposed to be a better frame, as it was super $$ and top of the line.

Finally built up a CSi that I had in cold storage for several years, and I have to say that it's truly special. I've had several steel bikes over the years and still have one or two, and have never been really drawn to them. My CSi is on a different level. Granted, since these bikes were often—or mostly?—custom, there's no way to generalize, but the one I got is definitely a winner.

I have two CSi's that were built for me. Love riding them both. One has a flat crown steel fork while the other one has the F3 Carbon fork. The carbon fork takes a tiny bit of the road "buzz" out of the ride but still feels lively.

I regret paying quite a bit extra for a carbon fork in 1999. I wish I just got that elegant steel fork!!
