What is the geometry of that frame? With that length head tube and seat post exposure, I would still be unable to reach those pedals. Full disclosure please. I'm 5'-6.625". You must be another .125" more, NO?

Semi-retirement

This old gentleman has lived a full life (40 years).

I am sure he's an awesome racer in his days but he's got nothing else to prove.
He has done enough.

He deserves to live out his remaining days in a dignified manner.

No restoration. No replacement of tubes. No repaint.

Just the way he is.

He will enjoy living at my house, hanging out with the kids at the playground, parade rides and coffee breaks...and keeping company with his other friends.

That is the longest Silca frame pump I've ever seen. The dent appears to be out of sight while riding, mostly. Bike is in very nice condition. Sounds like a great find. Congratulations.

Thanks Lou pal.
If the pump is 1/2 inch shorter, it will fit in the seat tube nicely.

Glad you like it, it's a special gift from Kitty pal here at the forum and is the last thing I got from him before he basically disappeared from the face of the earth. I missed him...meow.

I'd have Peter throw in a new tube and give her another forty years of pedaling.
