Guys wish you guys where up here to see the Tour of California. You are correct the climb is one to remember. Especially with this weather pattern we are having now.

We got there early and it was about 30F. Later we saw people coming up to the Baldy Village sweating! like dripping sweat... The road up to the mountain was one temperature and on the village it was completely different. This area may be the closest thing to the famed Dolomites of Italy. Do you agree?

The ride to do here is start at HWY 39 or Glendora Mountain Road and climb over to San Gabriel Mountains to Baldy village. Thats about 4700ft and about 25miles. The baldy village is a great staging area for the final effort. Get some water and take a quick break for the final accent to the ski lifts about 4 miles up for another 1200ft.

I will post some images of this past Saturday. It was an Incredibly amazing weekend! So much fun!
