Here are a couple of shots from the week. First up is a rando bike with a set of NOS Suntour vertical drop outs being mated to some Deda stays. Following that is a fresh BB fillet for a mixte project just out of soak.

More fun from the week over on flickr.

Just a quick pre- paint teaser. This is one of my Tool Series bikes, and will be available as a demo in the Portland area once the parts land.

More photos and details shortly.

It's official- I just sent in my deposit for the next Bespoked bicycle show. The show has been a pretty wild success, and this year is moving to a new venue- the Lee Valley Velodrome, London (Home of the London 2012 Olympic Track Cycling).

The show has treated me pretty well over the last few years- in 2012 my Wanderer frame set was awarded “Best Tour/ Randonee” (a category that didn't exist before the judging started).

The 2013 show was also great, with a nod to my Tenga track bike being awarded "Best Track Bike".

I have one bike picked out to show with another open spot. I have a few ideas, but would love to use to opportunity to hand deliver a frame or bike to a UK or European client in attendance. If you are interested in discussing a project that would work in this timeline (the show is only a few months away), please be in touch.

It's a collaborative effort with Velo Cult (the VC) and is a limited edition (LE) of stock sized Tool bikes. This is a new edition that is designed for fat road rubber. Here is the prototype and some more info.

We are still working on the details, but it should be in the neighborhood of $2500 f/f. Right now we are looking at a couple of build packages and an ala carte version.

If you are interested in detail or getting on the list, shoot the guys at VC a line and we'll get the ball rolling.

I have a few outlier sizes in stock, but I am also organizing another run of robot shirts- $16 shipped in the US, $30 to most of the rest of the world (if you add more shirts they are $12 per).

Shoot me an email to get your size (men's or women's cuts) pre-ordered now! info at winterbicycles dot com

Can't get over these. Hopefully someone snatched up that marvelous, green Serotta that was up in the classifieds. Absolutely gorgeous.

Hi folks! If you've paid me for your pre-order, it's in this box.

If you didn't pre order, but don't want to be on the outside of this next big thing shoot me an email. Patches, small wool caps, one M green cotton cap, men's shirts S-XL and women's s-L are all in stock and ready to roll.

Also a quick snap in the train station in Seattle after the Bike Expo. Great to run into some forum folks, and another fun outing for the bikes.

I was out with The Giganitic Bicycle Festival (a music and bike fest and organized ride). They are raffling off one of the Tool Bikes. Keep an eye out for their table at organized rides and bike events throughout the NW, and take a look at their site for details on the festival!

This year The Gigantic Bicycle Festival is raffling off a Winter Bicycles custom made "Tool Series" road bike. In addition, we are offering Winter Bicycle's clients and friends a discount on the event.

Anyone who wants to participate just needs to note "Winter Bicycles" as their team and use the password "GiganticTOOL" when registering online. (It's always good to have a little self deprecating and sardonic humor in your day). You just need to be signed up by April 1st (yes, that's the real date!).

"Team members" will be able to ride, have a weekend pass into the Gigantic Bicycle Festival, and get a 2014 festival bike jersey, for $76.50 with the discount. If you want to camp, you may add a campsite for $10. As many people as want to share a tent can share a campsite.
