OT CRAIGSLIST - Scam?

I listed some carbon bars on Craigslist (to avoid the shipping hassle).

I received 2 replies:

One replied via text (as I provided my phone # in the ad) and said "email me at asoasspysch@gmail.com if your carbon bar available".
I replied still available, but that text works well for me.
Response was - "i am working as a medium,, if you interested please email him"

Second response came thru the craigslist email and said:
"I want to get it. are you the original owner & is it final price? don't reply from cl mail. my mail address is veronica.passarelli.49@gmail.com"

Is there any harm in replying via email (what could scammers do with my email address) or am I being overly paranoid?

Thanks.

Obvious scam is obvious. I don’t post my phone # anymore, just another way for scammers to phish for numbers.

Same here, at least until the person turns out to be a reasonable human being...

To the OP, if it smells like a scam, it is a scam.

Everyone should have extra email accounts. Email her and ask home much they're willing to pay, but don't name any item.

The first one appears to be from the Assos gal. I'd trust her 100% with my e-mail and my phone #.

Although probably still a lot of scams, I feel like facebook marketplace is better to sell stuff.

But don't get me wrong, still a huge PITA and never put your bottom price because any message you will get will be a what is the lowest price you can go or will you take hundreds under your asking.

I buy up alot from craigslist .

They don't see your address when your buying.

When your selling have another email for it.

Just got an email from Veronica using this address:
veronica.passarelli.61@gmail.com

Same thing, they want you to reply to their email and not through Craigslist.

Are they selling good emails to companies so they can spam you with products you don’t want?
