My local bike shop that has an online store sent out an email this morning trumpeting amazing prices for black friday.

Yep... 10 to 20% off selected items.

yah.... not gonna even bother looking. Can find anything they sell elsewhere online cheaper at regular prices even with exchange factored in.

For me, yes. I’ve had one for ~6 months and find it convenient for running errands on my single speed, but of course that’s a very different use case from locking up a nice bike. I don’t delude myself that a determined thief wouldn’t be able to overcome it.
