billato built lemond frameset, 1991 era

I built this down a couple of yrs ago after riding it for a few yrs, and with my current trend of trimming the herd (along with the fact that it's just a little large for me) have reluctantly decided to move it along rather than continue to store it.

Fairly rare Billato bros. built 57 cm LeMond from ~ 1991. Columbus SL tubeset.

Refinished to a high standard as well as fork modified to threadless by a skilled motorcycle fabricator and painter about 5 yrs ago.

Rear is about 128 mm wide, easily fits 130 mm wheels.

Weight of the frameset with FSA headset is right around 6 lbs.

Saddle height in built up pic is 75.5 cm. IIRC Italian threaded bottom bracket.

Will easily fit Challenge Paris-Roubaix tires which measure 29-30 mm wide.

Asking $400 net to me for the frameset and FSA headset. Willing to add in some of the build components shown at a substantial discount.

I've had several of these Billato built Lemonds pass through my hands over the years and still have one. They are very well built and ride exceptionally well on the road. This is a real beauty and a steal at that asking price in my book!

GLWS!

If I didn’t just buy the purple Masi that was offered here a few weeks ago I would be buying this.

Wow! Two hours from listing to sold! A cool bike at a reasonable price from a great seller definitely helps.
