I would say it is! Makes me want another, but that would turn into a project that I don't need right now...

Tire clearance is probably 30mm exactly measured, definitely can't take the 32's that my Hampsten does and is really going to limit you to 28 labeled tires on newish rims.

Hi! Awesome post! I'm a little curious about the geometry of the bike. Are the other bikes you own on the race side or on the endurance side? I'm kind of contemplating whether to get this bike as a general training/climbing bike for working out, but not too sure whether the geometry is too intensive.

Looking at the Duetti geo chart, it seem to be pretty much in the 'standard' stage race geometry that Serotta used so successfully on their production bikes for so many years, comfortable for long distance and fast.

I think Dave answered it well. It's a pretty standard Serotta geometry, quick but not crazy steering, reasonable front end, and lower BB - basically the bike goes where you point it and is great for anything short of a crit race. For someone like you looking for a general training bike I would say it's spot on. It won't be the lightest thing but it follows the Serotta philosophy of being stiff "at the dropouts" so it goes forward but doesn't beat you up over a long day. In a lot of ways it's kind of like a Porsche 911, a fast comfortable sports car that's flexible for daily life.

As for my other bikes, they're all custom for me but have similar geometry's to this (lots of ex-Serotta folks involved, and the fit came from my time at Cyclesport who was the first Serotta dealer). My Fabrica is a bit more aggressive with a shorter wheelbase and steeper angles and it definitely turns quicker, but the rest are in this stage race style.

What’s the limiting factor on tire clearance? Fork? Chainstays?

Any idea of frame weight or complete weight as you’ve built it? I know they mention that the ride quality is paramount, but I’m just curious!

Little bit of everything, just switched the wheels to new Enve 3.4's I got for a song, and I could probably go to a 30-31 measured tire as the Corsa Pro Controls in 28 are spot on 28mm... Available space is about the same in the fork and stays, the bike was definitely designed around that 30-31mm actual tire as the max. As nice as the 32s are on my Hampsten, they're kind of overkill for a road bike.

As for weight, I have no idea other than that it's definitely heavier than my 16ish lb Hampsten and 15lb No22
This one isn't really about the numbers anyway, it's just a great riding aluminum bike that puts a smile on my face (and a bigger one, now that the HED's are gone)

Very cool, thanks for the insight. It looks amazing with the new wheels! I’ve been seriously thinking about picking one of these frames up while they’re so cheap.

Thinking about one of these as a travel bike to go in an Orucase.. external routing makes disassembly easy and it’d take a wide Rival AXS group nicely. Just wish the tire clearance was a bit more generous.

Still enjoying this guy, just can't seem to keep the same set of wheels on it. CK hubs need some service, so the MCFK to Carbon-Tis go on. This is a really nice riding frame, still feels like a Serotta should - a fast, planted ride, while never feeling "nervous" over any road.

I had mentioned this to Hilltopperny when he got his, but it rides a lot like the No22 Great Divide I had picked up from him. Just a really nice, solid all day ride that "flows" along when you put the power down.
