Very nice!

The Ritchey Swiss-X is my favorite because I think those are special bikes with the steel fork. Would love to find one in my size some day. Beautiful collection.

Thanks for the complement Angry, if the bikes could reply back they would give you a wink. It is my retired life's great time passer to have the opportunity to ride and look after them. Continually reassembling, restoring, making upgrades, riding and taking pictures occasionally.

The steel fork on the Swiss Cross has its advantages and curses, because of it's narrow width canti post mounts you can really only use a limited number of canti brake models on the fork correctly. I went with the Shimano CX70's, they stop and moderate speed exceptionally and retain their proper geometry.

I particularly like the years with the sloping rear stays and that's what attracted me to this model year and not so much the fork.

The Spectrum is stunning - cant beat that paint!

What wheels are you using on your Focus CX bike? Rare to see silver disc rims - love it!

Hello Mr. Douglas,

The Spectrum was built for 11.4 (Lane DeCamp), he had two of them built and sold off one to Byron Rhoades when he moved South to Texas. I picked it up from Byron last summer. Lane wants it back however he is not getting it until I am done with it, and it has become my favorite track daily so that might mean some wait time for him. 11.4 has since moved back to the North West and is now residing in Port Townsend, Washington.

Wheels on the X-Jeremy Powers Focus are HED Emporia GA Pro – Polished Silver Edition, they are almost too nice to take CXing, but they found a bit of mud this past season.

Thanks!

Those are beautiful looking wheels. I have silver hubs on my Lobster, but silver rims take the cake!

Finally got this together, have a couple diffrent wheel and crank sets to try out still.
When I find time, I have a set of Campagnolo WTO 33's to try out and I am enjoying the Infocrank Power Meter but have a set of Rotor 3D+ cranks which might give the bike a bit more consistant look. For now happy with it, feels fast and rides very stable and predictable.

Took sometime to put my 1998 Litespeed Ocoee together. A few little touches to finish off, for now it is ready to ride. A bit heavier than I invisioned it ending up but, lots of directions to go lightening it up.

Currently it has some neat old school parts on it, a 1 of 500, was NOS Cane Creek World Bicycle Relief 110 Reserve Headset, XC Pro thumb shifters, seat post and grease guard hubs, first generation XTR FC-M900 Crankset, Sakae PowerBulge Titanium Handlebar, Avid Speed Dial Titanium levers, Gary Fisher cages, Fox 32 Series F100RLC fork, Dart and Smoke tires ......etc. Next up, time to tackle the Zunow HummingBird assembly.
