Kinda like this?

well that certainly is the Italian flag and it looks pretty good. I would go more subtle / smaller with the flag motif. I.e., more red with smaller splashes of white and green.

Red, with the panels in green and writing in white would look pretty good.

They have a new frame in the works. Right now they have a pretty good backlog list they are working off of. They've been so busy they haven't had the chance to even post a bunch of pictures of in-process or completed frameset.

The plan is to be at NAHBS Denver in September. We should have my Fronda LE that was used at the Chris King Open House, My Epopea and a the other models. Not sure on spec and finishes or anything yet. But I'm hoping to have a good show with them in Attendence.

Thanks. The bike is sitting in my shop since it was made for me. I haven't had to the chance to post pics of it. I'll have to do that soon. It turned out really well. I had no idea what the finish was till it was unveiled on November 4th for the CK Open House.

Looking at the Facebook Group of Bixxis I saw a couple of pictures of a Prima with a different front end. Would you (or anyone else) have further details?

I'm on the verge of ordering a steel frame and I have narrowed it down to the Prima or the Pegoretti Duende so any information is appreciated.

Get one of each. You won't regret either one.

The Prima is available in 2 frame (headtube) styles. Well, technically 3 now. The Prima Integrated (integrated headset/Falz fork), the Prima External (Chris King D11 headset/Flaz fork) and now the Prima XL (44mm headtube).

The Prima XL is a newer offering for people that want a bit stiffer front end and additional fork/headset offerings. With a 44mm headtube (same one as on the Fonda), you can use any tapered steerer tube fork (Enve, Columbus, Whiskey, etc.) and you can use any ZS/ZS or ZS/EC (Inset style) headset available. So Hope, Cane Creek, Chris King, White Ind. etc.

The price for the Prima XL is the same as the price for the Prima External. You just need to specify the fork and headset model you wish.

If you'd like more information about Bixxis, please let me know. You can reach me at info@velocipedeimports.com
