Appreciate the dialogue, kind words and emails. Vardena does make a nice kit.

In agreement with the aforementioned, as most companies make an effort to advertise their products to stand out from the competition, I've had the opportunity over the last 2 days to put their Winter kit to the test. Below freezing temps, etc. Nothing but good things to say. The chamois is perhaps the best I've ridden.

A couple things come to mind....

For one, advertising aside, these kits were developed by a cyclist for cyclists in mind. Why not push the envelope and try something no-one else has?

Given the fact that clubs/groups can get a customized kit with the same quality is a plus, all at no extra charge.

New website

Vardena's new site is up. Have a look at http://vardena.it

Of course, any questions one might have, I'm at your disposal, as I've been riding their kits for 3 years.

Intriguing brand and story, along with cutting edge manufacturing it seems. Am going to try this brand out. Want to create a "team" kit for myself (even though it's just me and no team really exists), and am first trying out 3-4 brands to see which way I will go with the custom stuff. Vardena has been added to the list.

With the intention of further pushing the envelope, Vardena has developed a Boron-Graphene kit.

Further information to follow. Colors, as well as pricing, but I will be working out a discount for Paceline members.

Of course, the carbon line is still available.

Have your own logo/color scheme? Custom kits will be available as the one I've ordered in the attached pic.

Thank you to all that have reached out to me concerning Vardena Cycling clothing.

As mentioned last week, I have worked out a discount for Paceline members. When you visit www.vardena.it simply use the coupon code EVS21 at checkout for 40% off list pricing for all sizes XS to XXL.

Do you have any information about the sizing of these? I couldn't find a size chart on the website. Do they tend to run small? Large? Is the fit comparable to any other brands you are aware of?

Thanks for looking! Sizing is race fit and compressing for sure. I like my jerseys tight, but if one likes more room, I would size up. For reference, I am 5"10'' and 175lbs(79.55kg)and wear a Large Jersey, but XL bibs. Large bibs fit fine, but I prefer the extra room as I have long, large legs.

Height in cm, weight in kg
- 165cm x 65kgs: S Jersey, S Bibs
- 170cm x 70/80kgs: M Jersey, M-L Bibs
- 175cm x 65kgs: L Jersey, M Bibs
- 180cm x 70/80kgs: L Jersey, M-L Bibs
- 183cm x 86kgs: XXL Jersey, XL Bibs
- 188cm x 93kgs: XXL Jersey, XXL Bibs

The fitting of the Jersey is Aero, while Bibs are normal.
Often the Jersey size depends on the Chest/Shoulder size of the rider.

People with wide Shoulder/Chest prefer one size-up for the Jersey. If you are in-between sizes, definitely size up.

My pleasure. New kits on the site soon. I'll have my custom kit within a couple weeks and provide feedback.

Arrived last evening, and fit and finish is as expected.

First ride this morning and initial impressions are a bit more compressive than the carbon kit, so definitely size up, which I'm glad I did. Vardena is always pushing the envelope of technology, and this kit did not let me down as far as comfort. Does it do what science says? Maybe... Quite honestly, at my age, and no longer racing, it does what I need it to do, and that is keeping me comfortable. The Manta chamois in the bibs is one of the best I've wrapped my unpadded Berk around. More to follow....

Those that want to try something different, the discount I worked out for Paceline members is still active. When you visit www.vardena.it simply use the coupon code EVS21 at checkout for 40% off list pricing for all sizes XS to XXL. Site will be updated soon with the new boron/graphene kit, so wait! The new kit will is worth the wait in my opinion.

Want to do your own thing? Have a club? Need different colors? Feel free to message me. Discounts will apply moving forward.

For those wondering about turnaround time, the factory is running full speed ahead, and orders placed will be 2-3 weeks.

Site says VAT & shipping included. Do they back out VAT for US buyers? Don't see where to choose your currency.

Italian VAT and shipping is covered by Vardena. DHL customs in the US has never charged me a fee when products arrive. Lord only knows if that will change, but so far so good.

The site is euro based, and will be converted to US dollar during checkout. If you use PayPal, they automatically convert euro to dollar.

Thanks

Appreciate the note and the discount code is very generous. The picture details make the product and in particular the finishing aspects of the garments look amazing. Might be back in the near future for that custom kit I wrote about earlier, thanks again Elite Velo!
