Wonderful vendor. Eric shipped out a demo Lupina to me after patiently answering a few questions on fit. Beautiful saddle. Wow. This thing is light.

Gave it a go and didn't quite work for me. Eric quickly generated a return shipping label just as I was about to create one. Figured it was my half of the deal to ship it back. Nope. Elite Velo is a full service, first class service. Saddle is on its way back.

Totally recommend folks give the demo program a try. It's genius.

Thank you, Eric!

Most incredible bike i've seen on the net
I follow Aleš Arnež on IG, fantastic gram

I first heard of Berk on Japan cycle's YT - He's a weight weenie gravel guy. Funny vids. He raves about Berk!

Special project finished after almost 3 years. Custom made frameset/saddle, handlebar/stem combo and a lot of tuning by Berk Composites team member Aleš Arnež. The bike was in use already in the past years, but now it is finally <4kg

Jure will be making me a frame over the Winter, time allowing, and while I'm not a "weight weenie" it will be made considering my needs.

Plans are to move forward with custom frames. Those with any interest, feel free to send along a message.

Very kind of you to say! All my pleasure.

Sorry that it didn't work out, but appreciate that you gave it a go.

While the pandemic has slowed delivery times, Jure Berk has been playing around with some different color themes. Have an idea in mind, give us a shout.

TDF Yellow

In honor of the TDF, Jure has decided to make a run of yellow Lupinas in 132 and 150mm. Not his first dive into colored leather of course.

As always, feel free to give me a shout if you have interest in yellow, or another color for that matter. If you do not want matching bar tape and carbon plugs, pricing will remain the same for all Paceline members.

Here's a question...I have a Berk List in white which could use some love. Is there a restore kit or process I can treat it with?

I love the saddle, bought it used on here.

White will definitely take abuse. I have a white Lupina on one of my bikes and I make sure to clean it after every ride. That said, if you have cleaned it with leather cleaner and it is still suffering, it would be wise to reach out to Jure and he will send you replacement padding and leather. You will either need to retire it or take it to a specialist that can re-cover it.

It’s not bad enough for leather replacement. I’ll hit it with some leather cleaner and maybe some Brooks Proofide. Thanks for the tips.

The white leather is not as smooth as the black (at least mine is not). Which makes it alot harder to clean, apart from the obvious that white is always harder to keep clean it is also because of the surface harder to get into all the little valleys in the surface.

New festive colors

Copied from Instagram and sent to me this morning.

As most are well aware, Jure makes his saddles in a 5mm black leather covering, with colors on request.

While Covid-19 has hit them hard, they are slowly back to normal and offering some special colors moving forward to lighten up our current situation. 'Till December 24th, if you order one of his new colorful saddles, you'll get extra bar tape in matching color as a gift.

Offerings include white, turquoise, orange, grey-blue, lilac, and lime.

Paceline members will not receive an upcharge for different colors.

Please send an email to info@elitevelosolutions.com for any inquiries.

which model ?

I am a fan of the older Fizik Aliante and the Fabric Scoop Radius. Which Berk or Gelu or other carbon saddle is closest to that (roundish) shape??

And in a similar vein the preceding post, anyone move from an SMP Dynamic to a Berk who can share insights/comparisons?

The closest Berk to the aforementioned would be a Hlod. While it doesn't have the Berk cutout, the rear is rounder than all his other offerings.
