I got to say if you are even in the least bit considering a Berk saddle you have to try one.....
- They are by far the most comfortable saddles you will ever use, due to the great designs and built in flex. - The light weight and great looks is an added plus ! - Velo Solutions customer service is outstanding !!! I got my Berk before Velo Solutions was the distributor in the U.S, but I reached out to them when I had a small issue with my Berk. Issues dont really bother me as all companies have them, its how they handle the issues that makes the real difference. Eric at Elite Velo Solutions sent me a replacement saddle right away, his customer service has been outstanding, Berk made an excellent choice by having Velo Solutions represent them here in the U.S. This just goes to show how high Berk and Velo Solutions standards are on their products and service. A truly rare combination these days ! .

I just sent you an email regarding these saddles. Anyone current owners who have experience with riding Specialized S-works saddles (Toupe & Romin) care to comment on how these compare?
Toupe 132 was my long time favorite, but currently switching between that and a Roman 155. Can't decide which I prefer! |

I love my power saddle and the shape works well for me. Curious to hear from those who have gotten along well with the power saddle specifically to comment on the Dila.

I wanted so badly to love the Power saddle, tried it in multiple widths with no such luck.

They can be finicky to position correctly.

I'm having a difficult time finding online reviews of Berk saddles. I am a road rider (not racer) and have been riding Specialized Romin saddles (143mm) for about three years. I have both carbon rails and alloy rails depending upon the bike. I LOVE the Specialized saddle, but this MIGHT be better. I'm thinking the Lupina padded 150mm. The bike I'd try this on has a saddle rail clamp designed for oval, carbon rails, so I'd get the oval 7mm x 9mm rails on the Berk.
Any feedback from riders who have made a similar change? Maybe the nice folks distributing the Berk line will give me a free one so I can review it and post! ![]() Thanks, Darrin |

All i can say to cats about this saddle is this: Ive tried a lot of them, fizik arione, Spec toupe and romin, fabric scoop, Selle italia slr, leather saddles, lots of saddles.
this one is the one i like the most, easily. its completely different fomr the rest relying on flex to cushion you. at first the flex was a lot, felt like i was bouncing a bit, but once i got the height dialed, that flex is welcomed, it sucks up bumps, it replaces padding, its works. dudes were all ready to shell out a few hundy for a rapha saddle, this one is cheaper, lighter, and different. yet everyone is walking on eggshells. the market is funny, made funny by humans. try it and if it doesn't work, sell it. or keep wondering. but i cannot say enough positive things about them. I was skeptical that something so insubstantial would work, but it does. |

Any suggestions on which way to go on width? If you’re coming from a 140ish width saddle, should you size down to 132 or size up to 150? I’m considering a Lupina. Thanks very much!

for anyone not satisfied with their saddle, and willing to take a chance to solve the problem, i have no reason to speak up other than i prefer being comfortable. try one if you can;t find another solution. for the weight weenies, 140gs is a kinda light saddle, so if these normal light weight saddles get you goin... 90gs is a lot lighter. ![]() lastly, the vendor has stated that pricing varies based on the euro. I had a response to my inquiries within the day of asking my questions. its a very good service company, this Elite Velo. i dont think there is a better value out there when considering price to performance ratios. but thats just me... i can tell you it cost me less than a new Fabric ALM and weighs at least 50g less. |

I appreciate the dialogue....constructive criticism and positive vibes.
I do not have an on-line store, mostly because the products I bring in from Europe are mostly custom. Prices become arbitrary, as most upgrade from initial pricing. As Matt pointed out, the euro changes, and while it has held steady, one never knows. I would rather talk to someone personally than worry about my website pricing. This being said, Berk saddles start at $167 with the List in 7mm rails up to $450 for the Lukna in 7x9 oval rails. I would rather give someone an exact price based on current numbers, along with a proper saddle, than worry about problems later. |

photos and comparisons of shapes?
Interested to learn more. I'd like to understand more about the shape of the various models. The photos on the Berk site don't show the saddle from the side or rear making it difficult to judge the shape.
For instance, I like the Fabric scoop radius and fizik Aliante but have no sense of which would be similar. Also it would be good to understand their return policy or whether they have a try before you buy program? |

Return policy is standard on Berk's website. If one chooses to purchase through me, I handle it. While there are talks, there is currently no demo program. |
