A junction hidden junction box is also only $100. A new group is not

These guys really put the anal in artisanal. Seriously though, I love these bikes and would love to own one. But at some point things start to get too precious. If I ever were to order one, would be a question of where to put the brakes on, so to speak. For me it would likely be well before the color-anodized dropout insert/plugs.

Will look into the bar end junction solution. Current bars are fine but not pre-drilled, Whisky Carbon, and don’t want to risk drilling into it. Need to research some wiring solutions.

Try watching this. If memory serves me the bars used were not drilled and still ended up clean.

I have drilled a few sets of bars (alu and carbon) for bar-end junction boxes. If you just drill careful holes 5cm from the ends of the drops, it’s really not a big a deal and leads to a pretty tidy solution. I prefer the holes on the inside of the bars, where Easton puts them. I actually kinda like the resulting shape of the drops with wires under the tape between the holes and the shifters, and the remaining wire running externally from shifter into the frame just follows the brake line.

At least three cannons. Italian, another is custom and the third one because you only live once.

But "elevate your cycling experience"? Having a slightly cleaner install doesn't have the slightest impact on my cycling experience. But if it does for you, great, enjoy.
Tee hee...and people accuse me os being a 'fan-boy'...Yup, that wee junction box down there under my handlebars hasn't bugged me since..like since never....
